What you’ll build: A custom assistant, a no-code automation, a setup that finds answers from a supplied document collection (retrieval-augmented generation, or RAG) and an end-to-end workplace workflow.

Every month I go through eight card statements and pull them into one spreadsheet. At Metacamp I built Monthbook to do most of that for me. I drop the statements in, fix the few transactions it flags, and export. Nothing leaves my browser.
I built Aura at Metacamp for the days I need to get away but can’t decide where. I choose a mood, how long I’ve got and what I can spend, and it plans the escape hour by hour without going over.

Topics 01–02
- Understand how generative AI and large language models work, including their capabilities, limits, hallucination and bias risks.
- Set up and compare ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini for practical workplace tasks.
- Structure prompts with a clear task, role, context, examples and output format.
- Apply few-shot, step-by-step reasoning and structured-output techniques through guided prompt exercises.
- Choose suitable tools for image, voice and slide creation, then complete an applied content build.
- Upload, clean, summarise and interpret workplace spreadsheets and documents with AI.
- Generate charts and draft reports while checking that conclusions remain grounded in the source data.
Topics 03–04
- Move from one-off prompts to reusable assistants in Custom GPTs, Gems and Claude Projects.
- Define instructions, persona, scope and guardrails for a real workplace task.
- Ground an assistant with knowledge files, then test, troubleshoot and iterate its behaviour.
- Organise multiple assistants into a toolkit that can be shared with a team.
- Identify repetitive work that can be expressed as triggers, actions and review points.
- Build a working no-code automation that connects AI to email, documents and spreadsheets.
- Extend the workflow into a guided multi-step agent and test its hand-offs, guardrails and failure states.

Start with GAI101 if you are new to applied generative AI. Choose GAI101F to build within a financial-services context, AI101 to analyse financial data with Python, or GAI201 after GAI101 or equivalent experience to orchestrate multi-agent systems.
GAI101 and GAI101F require no prior AI or coding experience. AI101 teaches Python from the fundamentals and requires tertiary education. GAI201 requires GAI101, GAI101F or equivalent working generative-AI fluency, but no coding experience.
Funding is course-specific. Eligible Singapore Citizens may use up to S$500 from their Opening SkillsFuture Credit toward the remaining fee. SkillsFuture Mid-Career Credit cannot be used. Available subsidies and final fees depend on the approved course run and your eligibility; confirm the prevailing amount before enrolment.
Something you built and know how to use. Depending on the course, this may be a custom assistant and automation, a financial-services AI workflow, a Python data-analysis capstone or a tested multi-agent system.
Yes. We offer private programmes for organisations and functional teams. Examples and exercises can be shaped around relevant roles, workflows and business goals.
AI will continue changing after your course. We teach principles and ways of thinking that remain useful as tools evolve. Graduates can also continue learning with the Metacamp community as new sessions and programmes are announced.
