Privacy Policy

Who we are

Metacamp (“we”, “us”) is a practical AI academy in Singapore. This policy explains what personal data we collect through metacamp.sg, how we use it and the choices you have, in line with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). For any question or request about your data, write to team@metacamp.sg — this mailbox also reaches the person responsible for data protection at Metacamp.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry — through the contact form or by email — we collect your name, email address, what you tell us about your goals and, if you share it, your contact number. Team-training enquiries also ask for your company name, job title and team size.
If you tick the box on the contact form to receive course updates, AI briefings and event invitations, we keep a record of that choice.
Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) needed to serve and secure the site.
This site uses the Meta Pixel, an advertising tool from Meta, the company behind Facebook and Instagram. When you visit, it sends Meta details of your visit. These can include the pages you view, the buttons you click, your IP address, your browser and device, and identifiers stored in cookies. If you use Facebook or Instagram, Meta may link these details to your account.

How we use it

To respond to your enquiry and point you towards the most useful course or programme.
To administer enrolment conversations and course logistics once you choose a course.
To send you course updates, AI briefings and event invitations, if you asked for them.
To operate, secure and improve the website.
To advertise Metacamp on Facebook and Instagram, using the Meta Pixel to see how our ads perform and to show them to people who have visited this site.

We do not sell personal data.

We collect and use personal data with your consent: you choose what to share in an enquiry, and we send updates only if you tick the box to receive them. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to team@metacamp.sg. The Meta Pixel runs when you visit the site. To limit what it collects, block cookies or trackers in your browser, or change the ad settings in your Facebook or Instagram account.

We share personal data with service providers who help us run the site and our communications, such as website hosting and email delivery, and only for those purposes. Meta also receives the visit details described above through the Meta Pixel, and handles them under its own privacy policy. We may disclose data where the law requires it. We never sell it.

Retention

We keep personal data only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as required by law. If you asked for updates, we keep your email address until you ask us to stop sending them; enquiry correspondence is kept while the conversation stays relevant.

Your rights

Under the PDPA you may ask to access or correct the personal data we hold about you, or withdraw consent to its use. Write to team@metacamp.sg and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with an updated date.
